The same words the app shows before you start (decision 0004). Last updated: 6 October 2026 (draft)
Before you start
Torn asks hard questions on purpose. Some dilemmas involve death, illness, crime, violence, family breakdown and other difficult subjects. You never have to answer one. You can skip any day, and you only see results if you choose to.
The dilemmas are thought experiments. They aren’t advice, and they don’t reflect the views of Torn or its makers. The explainers and articles summarise philosophical ideas for discussion. They aren’t professional, medical, legal or psychological guidance.
Your moral profile is a playful reflection of your answers. It isn’t a test, a diagnosis or a judgement of your character.
Torn is provided as it is, without warranties, to the extent the law allows.
