Install
Put Torn on your home screen.
Torn is a web app, so there’s no store and no download. Add it once and it opens full-screen from your home screen, like any other app.
The app opens soon. These are the steps you’ll use when it does. Until then you can try a sample dilemma on the home page.
You’re already using the installed app. Nothing else to do.

Tap Share
Open dailymoraldilemma.com in Safari, then tap the Share button: the square with an arrow pointing up.
- II

Tap Add in the top corner. Torn is now on your home screen and opens full-screen, with no browser bars.
Opened this link from Instagram, TikTok, WhatsApp or Gmail? Their built-in browsers can’t add apps to your home screen. Look for•••, the compass, or Open in browser, and choose Safari first. On iOS 16.4 and later, Chrome and Edge also offer Add to Home Screen in their Share menu.
Install before your first answer. In Safari, iPhone may clear a website’s saved data after a week away. On your Home Screen, Torn keeps your history safe.
Android
One-tap install is coming soon.
When the app opens at dailymoraldilemma.com/play, this button will ask your browser to install it. One tap, then Torn opens from your home screen and app drawer, full-screen.
Coming soon. Nothing to install yet.
No button? In Chrome, open the ⋮ menu and choose Install app or Add to Home screen. In Samsung Internet, open the menu and choose Add page to → Home screen. If you opened this from another app, choose Open in Chrome first.
Computer
Play in your browser.
Torn works on any computer, in any modern browser. In Chrome or Edge you can also install it as a desktop app from the address bar; in Safari on a Mac, choose File → Add to Dock.

Does it cost anything?
No. Torn is free, with no ads.
Do I need an account?
No. There’s no sign-up and no email. Your answers and your history stay on your device.
Can it remind me each day?
Yes, if you want it to: one gentle reminder a day, at a time you choose. On iPhone, reminders work once Torn is on your Home Screen.
Where are the App Store and Google Play versions?
They come later. The web app is the same Torn, and your history will move across when they arrive.
Who is it for?
Anyone aged 13 or over who likes a hard question. Some dilemmas deal with grown-up themes, handled with care.
